Technology is changing and advancing so quickly these days I always feel like I'm trying to catch up & figure out how I can leverage it to further our ministry here at Lifegate. Most of the time I try stuff out here on this blog to see how it works. Most of this stuff ends up as a widget on the side bar to the right here, but if you don't take the time to look at it you will probably never see it. So let me take this post to introduce you to some web tools you may like to take advantage of. Starting from the top:
1. Lijit-the Lijit widget gives you the opportunity to search this blog for that post you think you remember but can't find or just search to see if I've ever written about something you may be interested in. It also lets you see what the most popular searches on the blog are. You can also access the Lifegate podcast from the link there and my bookmarks at del.ic.ious.
2. Next up are a couple of ways that you can subscribe to the content of this blog and stay up to date with what happens here without having to check back here every day-RSS feed or have it sent directly to your e-mail.
3. The newest addition is my Twitter updates. I just signed up with Twitter today so if you are on Twitter let me know and I'd love to follow you. If you are interested in following me you can see my feed at www.twitter.com/pastordanb
4. For those of you on Facebook you can follow the blog through my blog network, just click on the blog network box.
5. If you are interested in seeing what blogs I follow check out my blog list.
So there you have it, if any of that can help make your life simpler or help you stay connected take advantage of it, otherwise just ignore all the junk I put over there and keep reading.

Dan, thanks for installing Lijit on your blog and for the post mentioning our service. We appreciate your support!
If any of your readers have questions or feedback about our widget, feel free to send them my way. I'm tara at lijit dot com.
Thanks again...
Part of allowed Search on blogs should also be the revenue the company is sharing with you, for the revenue driven ones the next step is getting transparency from companies like Lijit on their actual revenue vs. the % the Publisher may or may not get, and use of our content when we decide to use either. P.U.B. has a F.A.Q. on the Lijit issue on our
